Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, July 16, 2019
We headed out for some summer break fun at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk on Monday afternoon. The plan was to get on some rides but we ended up spending some time in the arcade, had some dinner (Gyros for mom& dad, corn dog for Luca and Panini for Maya). After that we headed to the beach instead and spent the evening playing in the sand and dipping our legs in the cold water. Luca ended up completely dipped :) An awesome evening hanging out together!

Weekend July 14, 2019 Horseback riding and Exploratorium in SF
Maya and daddy started the day early with horseback riding at Bear Creek Stables. Maya rode Misty again and she reminds me of an indian horse with her coloring. We couldn't get Misty to come our of her corral on our own since he had just been served fresh hay for breakfast. We finally had to ask Tara to help us get her out.
Luca and Maya spent a lot of time creating sand art on the spinning tables.
After the Exploratorium closed we took a walk along the piers and watched the boats/ships on the bay. Huge containerships slowly moving past that looked like they would tear down the Bay Bridge
Our beautiful boy waiting for his favorite food, Chicken Tikka Masala.
Right after horseback riding we headed up to San Francisco to go visit the Exploratorium. We had a fun day playing with the exhibits and stopped for yummy Indian food on the way back home.

Hike with farmor in Pinnacles National Park July 6, 2019
We went to one of our favorite parks, Pinnacles National Park, for a hike with farmor.
Maya and farmor modeling outside the visitors center.
The park was pretty busy so we had to park our car by the visitors center and take a shuttle bus to the Bear Gulch trail head. We had an awesome hike up through the caves and to the reservoir.
We enjoyed our picknick lunch by the reservoir and saw lots of dragonflies and a snake that is really not a snake..it was a legless lizard.
After the planned hike we decided to hike back to the visitors center instead of taking the shuttle. We slightly underestimated the distance, time and heat but we eventually made it back to enjoy a big ice cream in the shade.
What an awesome time with farmor!
